Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 3 or 4 x 12-hour shifts per week with day/evening shift options from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM or 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM
• On-call requirement of 6 calls per 6-week schedule
• 1 weekend shift and/or 1 holiday required per 6-week schedule
• Float to general surgery when cardiac cases are not scheduled
• Perform cardiovascular and thoracic surgical cases including cardiac and vascular procedures
• Utilize Da Vinci Xi Robotic Surgical System for cardiothoracic robotic surgery cases
• Perform and assist with procedures including CABG, TAVR, mitral valve replacement, endovascular aneurysm repair, and ventricular assist device placement
• Experience with general surgery, ortho, ortho/spine, ortho/joints, urology, endoscopy, thoracic, neuro, gynecology, neuro/spine, bariatrics, ophthalmology, plastics, podiatry, ENT, and transplant cases preferred
• Maintain aseptic technique and manage case carts throughout procedures
• Operate crash cart equipment as needed
• Treat patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Minimum 2 years of experience required in aseptic technique, case cart, cardiac and vascular surgical cases
• Completion of at least 1 prior travel assignment required
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Required certification: BLS
• Scrubs provided by the facility
