About this role

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. This is a Monday through Friday day shift position working 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no on-call or weekend requirements.

Role Overview

You will work in an outpatient radiology department with 3 imaging rooms and interdisciplinary radiology support. Your daily responsibilities include performing diagnostic mammography, 3D mammography, stereotactic biopsies, needle localizations, and FNA procedures. You will conduct screening exams and see approximately 50 patients per day with 50 total visits. There is no float requirement, and you will work solely within the mammography department.

Requirements

  • Current ARRT (R) certification and BLS certification
  • Valid DC license at time of submission
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with 3D mammography, diagnostic mammography, FNA, needle localization, stereotactic biopsy, and screening procedures
  • At least 1 previous travel assignment
  • Current CEU credits and documentation of mammography procedure numbers from the past 2 years

Compensation and Schedule

Weekly pay is $2,380.32. The assignment runs for 91 days, with a start date of June 29, 2026. You will work standard business hours with no weekend or on-call obligations.

Additional Details

This position requires you to be comfortable proceeding without a formal manager interview prior to assignment start. You will work with adult patients in a supportive outpatient environment with established departmental protocols and imaging infrastructure in place.
