Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts, Monday through Wednesday (3x12 nights)
• Department is staffed 24/7 with backup call support available overnight if assistance is needed
• Backup call tech will come in to the hospital if additional help is required
• Perform primarily portable exams during overnight hours
• Scan patients in the ER, which is located on the same floor as Ultrasound, or bring patients to the department
• Perform NICU exams at 2:00 AM or as time permits during overnight hours
• Primary exams include: renals, pylorus, intussusception, heads (neonates), appendix, vascular, and soft tissue exams
• Weekday backup call required approximately 4 times per month
• Pediatric scanning experience required
• Vascular experience required
• Must be comfortable working independently
• Must be able to perform portable exams
• Certification through ARDMS required (Nebraska-specific tech license not required)
• Training will be provided for any studies the traveler is not fully confident performing
