Echo Technologist Job in Coos Bay, OR

Bay Area Hospital in Coos Bay, OR is seeking an Echo Technologist to join our cardiology team on a travel assignment. This is a 91-day contract beginning October 16, 2026.

Position Details

• Schedule: 4x10 days, 40 hours per week guaranteed
• Shift: Days (AM hours)
• Start date: Tuesdays
• Weekly pay: $2,992

Your Role

You will perform echocardiograms in our acute-care hospital setting, supporting inpatient, emergency, and outpatient cardiac imaging workflows. Your responsibilities include operating diagnostic ultrasound equipment, acquiring and archiving cardiac images, and collaborating with cardiologists and clinical staff to ensure quality diagnostics and patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Current RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) certification through ARDMS, or RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer) through CCI
• BLS certification

Preferred Experience

• Experience with stress echocardiography, contrast echocardiography, or transesophageal echocardiography
• Proficiency with electronic medical records, cardiovascular imaging systems, and image archiving systems
• Additional relevant cardiac imaging credentials or specialty training
• Background in inpatient, emergency, or outpatient cardiac imaging workflows
