Telemetry RN Job in Springfield, MO

You will work as an RN on a Telemetry unit at Mercy Hospital Springfield. This is a 13-week assignment with 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. You'll earn $2,102.40 per week with 36 or 48 guaranteed hours weekly, as specified on submission.

Your responsibilities include:

• Providing direct patient care on a Telemetry unit with patient ratios of 1:6–1:8 on nights (estimates, not guarantees)
• Performing drug titration and monitoring specialty surgery patients including GI, GU, ENT, and Urology cases
• Operating Alaris pumps, telemetry systems, and lift equipment
• Using the EPIC electronic medical record system
• Floating on a rotational basis as needed
• Working weekends as required by facility; no call requirements

Requirements:

• Current RN license (eligible for Missouri licensure or currently licensed in Missouri)
• Minimum 1 year of Telemetry experience in an inpatient setting
• Demonstrated competence in drug titration
• BLS certification from AHA (required at start)
• 4 trauma credits (must be completed within your first two weeks if not already obtained)
• NIHSS certification (must be obtained prior to your start date)
• ACLS certification from AHA (preferred)

Additional information:

• Trauma experience is preferred
• Night shift orientation occurs during day shift hours; you must be available for the entire orientation week
• Black scrubs are required
• You should demonstrate a calm demeanor, collaborative approach, and strong communication skills
