OR RN Job in Mesa, Arizona

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an RN for the Operating Room at Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona. This is a 89-day travel assignment beginning June 29, 2026.

Your Responsibilities

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for perioperative patients in accordance with organizational policies. You will conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs. You will formulate and implement individualized plans of care based on assessment data and patient-specific requirements.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care, delegate appropriately to other licensed nurses and personnel, and provide nursing supervision. You will document all nursing care activities in patient records in a timely and accurate manner, participate in patient and family education, and assist with staff orientation as needed.

This role includes a varied schedule with weekends, holidays, call, and float assignments per department guidelines. You must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to the OR setting and be able to lift up to 75 pounds using proper body mechanics for patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license in Arizona
• BLS certification
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience
• Recent acute care experience within the past 12 months in the specialty area

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Professional certification in perioperative nursing
