Pediatric Respiratory Therapist Job in Omaha, NE

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment at Childrens Nebraska in Omaha. You'll work 3x12 night shifts in the NICU, PICU, and CICU, earning $2,358.72 weekly.

Position Requirements:

• 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Pediatric and/or neonatal ICU experience required
• Current BLS, PALS, CRTT, and RRT certification (CRT accepted at signing, with RRT certification to follow)
• Proficiency with Servo I ventilators
• Must apply for Nebraska license within 48 hours of signing
• Weekend coverage required

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage natural and artificial airway management for neonates through young adults
• Perform non-invasive and invasive ventilator management
• Conduct cardiopulmonary assessments and bronchial hygiene therapies
• Deliver respiratory medications and medical gas therapy
• Participate in cardiopulmonary resuscitation
• Provide respiratory education on asthma, tracheostomy, and pulmonary diseases
• Float within scope to meet facility needs
• Chart using Epic system

What to Expect:

You'll work nights in a pediatric critical care environment with patients ranging from neonates to young adults. Any color scrubs are permitted. RTO restrictions: 5 days or less preferred.
