Respiratory Therapist Job in Ithaca, NY

You will work as a Respiratory Therapist at Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca, NY. This is a 90-day travel assignment on a 3x12 nights shift schedule, starting September 6, 2026. You will earn $2,444.04 per week.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Perform respiratory therapies across multiple care settings, including the emergency department, ICU, and general floors
• Conduct patient assessments to evaluate respiratory needs and develop appropriate care plans
• Administer medications as part of respiratory treatment protocols
• Manage invasive and noninvasive ventilation for patients requiring respiratory support
• Provide high-flow oxygen therapy to patients as needed

You will be expected to work the night shift, which runs three 12-hour shifts per week. This schedule allows you flexibility while maintaining full patient care responsibilities across diverse departments. Your clinical experience in respiratory support, patient assessment, and ventilator management will be essential to success in this role.
