<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Med Surg</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12-hour variable day/night shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)<br>• Guaranteed 36 hours per week<br>• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required<br>• Float to all inpatient units as needed<br>• Can be placed on call during low census periods with 2-hour minimum call back<br>• Minimum 2+ years Med Surg experience with recent hospital experience required<br>• Trauma level II experience required<br>• Prior travel experience required<br>• Epic charting experience required<br>• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License and BLS (AHA or ARC)<br>• Work with Epic EMR, Rovers for medication scanning, and Alaris pumps<br>• Provide post-surgical care for pre and post-surgical adults and geriatric patients<br>• Nurse to patient ratio: 1:4-5 during day/evening shifts, 1:5-7 during night shifts<br>• Fast-paced environment with 10-15 admissions per day<br>• Must be able to multitask, prioritize patient care needs based on acuity, and work as a team<br>• Any color scrubs permitted<br>• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility<br>• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor&#39;s degree preferred</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility operates a 40-bed Post Surgical Care Unit that provides comprehensive care for pre and post-surgical adults and geriatric patients. The unit maintains 90-95% occupancy during the week with an average length of stay of 2-3 days.
