CT Technologist Job in Altoona, PA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CT Technologist for an 8-hour shift position at NEW UPMC Altoona. This is a 90-day travel assignment beginning June 29, 2026, offering $3,124 weekly.

In this role, you will:

• Perform computed tomography imaging procedures and operate CT scanning equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Position patients appropriately for various CT examinations, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the procedure
• Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles to minimize patient and staff exposure
• Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to ensure optimal patient care and accurate image acquisition
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation in compliance with facility standards
• Ensure equipment functionality and perform routine quality control checks to support diagnostic accuracy
• Provide patient education and support to help patients feel at ease during scanning procedures

You will join a dedicated imaging team at a major regional medical center, working alongside experienced radiologists and support staff. Your attention to detail and patient care skills will be essential as you help deliver precise diagnostic imaging that guides clinical decision-making.
