Job Details:

• Primary shift: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• 2 shifts per month will be 6:00 AM to 5:30 PM for opening shifts
• Call requirements: 3-4 weeknight shifts monthly (Monday-Thursday) from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• 1 Friday shift monthly from 5:30 PM to 11:00 PM
• 1-2 weekend shifts monthly on Saturday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM Sunday
• Patient ratios: Intra-op team of 2 staff per 1 patient, pre/post op 1 RN per 2 patients
• Work with 6-7 RNs and 2 techs per day shift
• Perform basic and interventional/therapeutic procedures on high-acuity patients
• Work with Olympus endoscopes and reprocessing equipment
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Typical procedures include EGD/Colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, EBUS and their variations
• Responsible for infection control, manual cleaning and high-level disinfection of endoscopes
• Must work independently with little supervision while functioning as part of an intraoperative team
• Minimum 1 year current acute care Endoscopy RN experience required
• BLS certification required
• PACU experience preferred
• Experience with Olympus scopes and reprocessing preferred
• ACLS certification preferred
