RN - General

Job Details:

• Work in a 12-bed general medical unit with EKG/Telemetry background preferred
• Must work every other weekend and every other holiday
• Floating required to all inpatient units
• No on-call requirements
• Block scheduling not accommodated on this unit
• Must be assigned to "Emergency Team" during hurricane season (June 1 - November 30) with expectation to stay at facility until storm passes
• Special equipment includes Alaris Pumps
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS (for charge nurses)
• Must have 2 years experience in specialty
• Must be over 65 miles from facility (no local travelers accepted)
• Compact or Louisiana license required upon submittal
• NURSYS reports required with profile (within 4 weeks of submission)
• AHA certifications required
• Orientation held 5 days a week with billable modules
• First time travelers accepted
• Less than 2 years experience accepted
