ED - Emergency Room

RN - ED ER

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Full-time position serving as backfill replacement
• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI certification (Blue Card preferred)
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program required
• Coordinate and implement patient care specific to age of patient population served
• Conduct initial patient assessments and establish care priorities based on age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
• Systematically re-assess patients to identify progress and trends requiring intervention
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans within established timeframes
• Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on patient evaluations and modify care plans accordingly
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning
• Document timely interventions appropriate to patient needs
• Perform various Point of Care testing procedures
• Clinical ladder level determined by years of relevant experience, certifications, and additional education
• Demonstrate performance consistent with organizational mission, philosophy, and goals
