Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work on 3rd Surgical unit with 27 beds
• Patient ratio of 5-6 patients per RN
• Minimum 2 years experience in Med Surg in a hospital setting required
• Preferred experience includes 2 years in med surg, orthopedics, or bariatrics
• License must be in hand at time of submission
• Required certification: BLS
• Work with equipment including Hoyer lifts, CPM machines, and code carts
• Typical procedures include orthopedic surgery (knees, hips, shoulders, cervical) and bariatric procedures
• Floating to Medical Oncology unit may be required
• 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• Day shift staffing includes Charge RN, staff RNs, LNAs, and unit coordinator (Monday-Friday)
• Night shift staffing includes Charge RN, staff RNs, and 2-3 LNAs
• Must work collaboratively with team members and maintain patient focus
• No specific scrub color requirements
