ICU Registered Nurse Job in Lufkin, TX

Woodland Heights Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for its 27-bed ICU unit in Lufkin, Texas. This is a travel position with a 91-day duration, starting June 1, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• 3x12 day shifts per week, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Weekly pay: $1,708.20
• No 48-hour shift requirements
• Call responsibilities possible

Role Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a critical care environment
• Standard patient ratio of 2:1, occasionally 3-4:1
• May be required to float to the step-down unit as needed
• Work with the MedHost EMR system

Requirements

• Current RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 2+ years of critical care experience
• Must reside greater than 50 miles from the facility
• Available to start immediately
• Navy scrubs required
