Cath Lab Technologist Job in Portland, OR

You'll work as a Cath Lab Technologist at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in Portland, OR on a 13-week assignment. This is a day-shift role with 4x10 hour schedules, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

What You'll Do

• Perform scrub duties and act as first assistant to the operator during complex cardiac interventions
• Support diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, including cardiac stent placement
• Assist with advanced procedures using OCT, IVUS, Rotoblator, Shockwave, and drug-coated balloon technology
• Help with insertion of Impella CP, RP, 5.5, and IABP devices, plus balloon and stent preparation and deployment
• Support pericardiocentesis procedures while maintaining sterile field standards
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Float within the site and across the Legacy system as requested—refusal to float will result in contract cancellation

Scheduling and Call

Call requirements include approximately one weeknight per week and one weekend every 3–4 weeks. Low census mandatory cancellation terms apply with 1.5 hour notice.

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional credential
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• ARRT-R certification
• OBMI Oregon state license
• You must complete assigned education within one week of your assignment start
• You cannot live within 50 miles of any Legacy facility

Compensation and Duration

Weekly pay is $3,428.35. Assignment length is 91 days with a start date of June 22, 2026.
