Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 7:45 AM to 4:15 PM
• No on-call responsibilities
• Competently perform routine and specialized sonography procedures of moderate complexity to produce quality diagnostic images
• Work independently, exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills on challenging diagnostic procedures
• Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their families, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment and effective communication
• Perform specific procedures and/or orient other staff to the department as needed
• Minimum 2 years of recent relevant experience required
• Required certifications: ARDMS (American Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) and BLS (Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider)
• Must possess two of the following certifications: AB (Abdomen), BR (Breast), FE (Fetal Echocardiography), OB/GYN (Obstetrics & Gynecology), PS (Pediatric Sonography), or RVT (Registered Vascular Technician)
• Proficient in performing sonographic examinations with solid understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Working knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite, RIS, LIS, EHR, EPIC, and PACS
• Strong time management and organizational skills with ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team
