CT Technologist Job in Lander, Wyoming

SH SAGEWEST HEALTH CARE is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel position in Lander, Wyoming. This role offers a 3x12 night shift schedule with a 91-day assignment starting May 25, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,628.

About the Role

You will perform diagnostic CT examinations using appropriate imaging equipment under general supervision. Your responsibilities include:

• Verify patient identity and review medical records to confirm exam appropriateness
• Interview patients to obtain, verify, and update medical history and assess risk factors
• Explain procedures to patients, including side effects, risks, benefits, alternatives, and follow-up care
• Set up equipment and acquire appropriate images according to protocol
• Review images, document observations, note exceptions, and communicate findings to the radiologist
• Recognize and respond to medical emergencies as appropriate
• Provide physician-prescribed post-care instructions to patients
• Participate in process improvement activities focused on quality of care and patient satisfaction
• Provide imaging education to residents, student technologists, and new employees
• Take call and standby shifts as required by the department
• Perform radiologic technologist duties as needed

Requirements

You must hold current ARRT certification in both CT and Radiology, plus BLS certification through the American Heart Association. You need a minimum of 2 years of recent CT and Radiology experience and must be able to work independently. Experience with GE CT and X-ray machines is required.

An Allied Health Professional degree is required for this position.
