ICU - Intensive Care Unit

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM (block scheduling is not promised or guaranteed)
• Floating required to all units except Behavioral and ER (unless holding)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required with 4-5 years preferred
• Travel experience required
• Experience with CRRT and Prismaflex required
• Heart experience highly preferred
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Scrub color: Navy
• Required certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Active NY RN license required
• Skills checklist matching specialty required
• Work in a 42-bed ICU unit covering Neuro/Med, CTICU, and Surgical/Trauma areas
• Common patient diagnoses include strokes, sepsis, AMS, neuro intervention, respiratory failure, CHF, post-STEMI, cardiogenic shock, AAA, and major post-operative cases
• Specialty equipment used on unit includes IABP, CRRT (PRISMA or NxStage), ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, and TTM (Arctic Sun)
