<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Night shift position providing various aerosol, bronchial hygiene and lung inflation therapies<br>• Must float between NICU, ER, and Adult ICU Stepdown units based on facility needs<br>• NICU assignments will vary based on acuity - not a NICU-only position<br>• Required to rotate through adult units including floors, ED, Intensive Care Units, and pediatric unit<br>• Every other weekend required plus every other holiday<br>• Potential for mandatory on-call - 2 shifts per month<br>• Expected to serve as Team Lead at times<br>• Must attend monthly department meetings or read meeting minutes and send acknowledgment<br>• Complete up to 8 hours of non-billable modules within 1 week of signing<br>• Required certifications: BLS, CRTT, VA License, ACLS (90-day window to obtain)<br>• Preferred certifications: NRP, RRT<br>• 2 years of experience required, travel experience preferred<br>• Must have experience with airway management, medication administration, ABGs, O2 therapy, suction, pulmonary toileting, BiPAP, CPAP and nebulizers<br>• NICU, ED and adult ICU experience preferred<br>• Epic charting system experience required<br>• Wine-colored scrubs required<br>• First-time travelers accepted</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This 431-bed short-term acute care facility operates as a Level II Trauma Center with Magnet designation. The respiratory department follows patient-driven protocols and mechanical ventilation protocols, emphasizing safety and quality initiatives that staff must follow autonomously.
