RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Schedule consists of 5x8 and 4x10 shifts with varying shift times between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM
• Rotating weekday, weekend, and holiday call required
• May be assigned in other cardiovascular departments including Electrophysiology, Cath, or Cath Holding
• Perform minimally invasive cardiac procedures in a full-service cardiovascular program including electrophysiology services
• Must work two of the three winter holidays
• Longer assignments through January 9, 2027 are available but not required
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required
• Critical Care (ICU), Cardiac Care (CC), or Emergency Department (ED) experience required
• EPIC proficiency required with no exceptions
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Active Virginia RN license or Compact RN license required at time of submission with no exceptions
• Patients served include adults and geriatrics
• Key skills include: cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, pacemaker insertion, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), procedural sedation administration and monitoring, IABP placement and removal, Impella insertion, cardioversion, Watchman procedure, transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE), and vascular closure systems
