<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapist</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 3x12 rotating shifts in the NICU department<br>• 13-week contract assignment with 36 guaranteed hours per week<br>• Minimum 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy specialty required<br>• Recent travel experience required, preferably 3 completed assignments<br>• Perform and document patient evaluations and assessments in the NICU<br>• Provide diagnostic and therapeutic treatments and physician assistance<br>• Deliver appropriate patient and family education and support<br>• Identify significant changes in patient condition and take appropriate action<br>• Complete pain assessments according to standard operating procedures<br>• Handle all documentation including order entry, EMR, medication charting, and incident reports<br>• Process patient charges and verify reports as needed<br>• Maintain respiratory equipment through cleaning, assembly, and preventative maintenance<br>• Transport infants to/from referral health systems<br>• Provide high-quality critical care according to organizational guidelines<br>• Required certifications: North Dakota or Minnesota Respiratory Therapist license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP<br>• All certifications must be obtained prior to start date<br>• Submit resume, skills checklist with individual procedures listed, and proof of licensure</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare system operates as a Level 2 Trauma Center providing comprehensive medical services to the region.
