PCU - Progressive Care Unit

Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• 84 hours biweekly with a 72-hour guarantee
• Patient ratios: 4 patients per nurse during days, 5 patients per nurse during nights
• Float required to other PCUs
• Unit consists of 23 beds with a heavy cardiac and CVA patient population
• Must be able to manage and titrate cardiac drips including Cardene, amiodarone, Cardizem, insulin, heparin, nitroglycerin, dopamine, dobutamine, and milrinone
• Strong cardiac background required including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Manage vasoactive drips with and without titration
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Epic charting experience strongly preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of submission or prior to accepting offer
• Local candidates within 50 miles not accepted
