CT Technologist Job in Rockville, Maryland

AHC Imaging Center in Rockville, Maryland is seeking a CT Technologist for an 8-hour day shift position. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 5, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,981.

Position Overview

You will perform CT imaging across radiology and cardiology services, working with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations. The role involves approximately 32 patient visits per day and requires you to be willing to float within your scope of practice as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience
• Active Maryland or Compact license at time of submission
• ARRT CT certification
• ARRT R certification
• BLS certification
• Two supervisor references

Required Technical Skills

• 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction
• CT protocols: abdomen, carotid, cervical, chest, head, lumbar, pelvis, sinuses, soft tissue neck, thoracic, and trauma head (with and without contrast as appropriate)
• Specialized imaging: coronary angiography, calcium scoring, heart imaging, enterography, vascular chest imaging (pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta)
• Preparation and administration of contrast media
• Starting peripheral IVs and venipuncture
• Isolation precautions and PPE protocols
• Radiation safety practices

Equipment and Environment

Familiarity with GE and Siemens CT equipment is preferred. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. This is a tobacco-free facility; candidates must pass a nicotine screen to proceed.
