Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4x10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM to 5:30 PM), with shift end times varying based on procedure completion
• On-call required: one weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) per 7 weeks, plus one call shift and one evening shift every week; call requirements may change based on staffing needs
• Holiday shifts required as needed
• No floating between service lines or sister facilities
• Daily caseload consists of 20-25 cases per day across 4 to 5 labs, with 2-3 CVTs per lab
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• 2+ years of Cath Lab experience required
• Must be proficient in coronary diagnostic/intervention scrub and monitor
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT or RCIS (registered or in process), and SC license (SCRQSA)
• Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Community hospital experience required
• Key skills include: accurate monitoring, cardiac stent placement, diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab, left and right heart catheterization, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA), rotablator atherectomy, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, IVC filter placement, embolization, Impella insertion, and IVUS/FFR/IFR
• Special equipment used includes: Impella, Balloon Pump, Angiojet, Shock Wave, MAC Lab (documentation), and Vidistar (image storage)
• Hospital-issued scrubs provided for Cath Lab
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; called-off hours can be broken down to equal 1 shift
• Orientation is 24 hours
