ICU Registered Nurse Job in Rhinelander, WI

Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for its ICU. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 13, 2026, with 3x12-hour night shifts at $2,351.52 weekly.

Role Overview

You will provide direct patient care in a critical care setting with a 1:2 patient ratio. Your responsibilities include comprehensive monitoring, medication administration, and coordination of care for acutely ill patients. You may float to similar units within your skillset, including other locations within a 40-mile radius (Tomahawk, Howard Young, and Eagle River). Floating can be pre-scheduled as needed.

Shift and Schedule Details

• 12-hour variable nights
• Every other weekend rotation required
• Every other holiday rotation required
• Low-census placement or on-call possible with 2-hour minimum call-back

Patient Population

The ICU serves adult patients with occasional pediatric surgical cases (ENT, orthopedic).

Requirements

• Current Wisconsin RN license
• Minimum 2+ years of ICU experience
• AHA or Red Cross BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• Associate Degree or Certificate in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior critical access or rural healthcare experience
• EPIC charting experience
