PACU RN Job in Reno, NV

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at Renown South Meadows Medical Center in Reno, Nevada. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 15, 2026.

Schedule and Hours

• 4x10-hour shifts with rotating days of the week, Monday through Friday
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Call requirements: two weeknight and one weekend day call shift per schedule period
• Schedule may include weekends, holidays, and additional call shifts
• Low census call-offs of up to 48 hours per 13-week contract may occur as full or partial shifts
• You may be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during the schedule period

Your Role

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including their families and caregivers
• Perform assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
• Monitor and support patients through post-anesthesia recovery
• You may be required to float to other departments up to your competency level based on organizational needs

Requirements

• Active Nevada RN license required prior to start date
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recovery room experience
• Prior travel healthcare experience required

Compensation

Weekly pay: $2,600
