Electrophysiology Lab RN Job in Butler, PA

Join WVU Butler Memorial Hospital as a Registered Nurse in the Electrophysiology Lab. This is a travel nursing position ideal for experienced EP nurses ready to contribute to a dynamic acute care setting while supporting newer staff members.

Role and Responsibilities

• Work 4x10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, for a total of 40 hours per week
• No weekend or holiday obligations unless scheduled on call
• Provide circulating, scrubbing, and hemodynamic monitoring during electrophysiology procedures
• Support device implants and ablation procedures with precision and expertise
• Demonstrate proficiency in insertion of intra-arterial and intravenous catheters during EP cases
• Mentor and train newer staff members as needed

Requirements and Experience

• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required
• Recent and seasoned travel nursing experience required
• Recent electrophysiology experience is essential
• Current BLS certification required
• BSN not required; RN degree sufficient

On-Call and Compensation

• On-call requirement: 9–12 days per month
• Guaranteed time earnings are not available during orientation week, unit closures, holidays, or weeks with requested time off
• Travelers cannot volunteer to leave or refuse shifts and receive guaranteed time pay
