ED Registered Nurse Job in Tucson, Arizona

Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department. This is a travel nursing position with a 91-day contract starting June 15, 2026.

Position Details

• Specialty: Emergency Department (ED)
• Schedule: Three 12-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
• Weekly Pay: $2,102.40
• 48-hour guarantee available

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 38-bed emergency department using the nursing process
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment to ensure safe patient care delivery
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel
• Care for stroke-receiving and STEMI-receiving patients in a Trauma Level III certified facility
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Willingness to float to other departments as needed

Requirements

• Current RN licensure
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Charge nurse experience preferred (additional compensation available)
• NIH certification recommended but not required
• Black scrubs required for dress code
