Med Surg RN Job in Albany, GA

Opportunity:

RN - Acute Med Surg Acute Care

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 AM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Holiday coverage as needed
• Patient ratios of 1:5, possibly 1:6 for both day and night shifts
• Must live within 75-mile radius of hospital based on driver's license address
• Minimum 2 years specialty experience with 1 travel assignment required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA) and NIHSS (AHA)
• Scrub color requirement: Caribbean Blue
• Float to all acute care units and cardiology for medical patients, or emergency department for acute care patient holds
• Work on 44-bed unit with 40 staff members
• Telemetry patients monitored on different unit
• CNA support available with 1:8 to 1:10 ratios
• MEDITECH EMR system (experience preferred but not required)
• 1 week general orientation including EMR training
• 2 days floor-specific orientation
• BSN not required
