PACU - Post Anesthesia Care

Opportunity:

RN - PACU

Job Details:

• Minimum of 12 months PACU/post anesthesia care experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Strong experience reading and measuring telemetry required
• Drips and titration experience required
• Pediatric care experience preferred
• Work every other weekend and as needed
• On-call as needed
• Unit bed size: 12 with a 2:1 patient ratio
• Population includes all patient types
• Required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless the unit is closed
• Hospital provided scrubs
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA)
• Active Iowa nursing license or compact/multistate license required
• Work history must reflect 24 months of current PACU/post anesthesia care experience
