Occupational Therapist Job in Fort Pierce, FL

You will provide occupational therapy evaluations and treatments in an acute care setting at HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital. This is a day shift role with consistent 5x8 hours, working 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with no night shift or on-call responsibilities.

Your responsibilities include:

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and deliver patient treatments
• Manage a patient evaluation load of 8 assessments over your 8-hour shift
• Use portable equipment appropriate to acute care environments
• Document patient care using Meditech and Redoc electronic systems
• Function independently and adapt to a fast-paced clinical setting

Position requirements:

• Current BLS certification
• Gray scrubs as dress code
• Previous acute care experience preferred but not required

This 91-day travel assignment begins April 13, 2026. You will work alongside an acute care team and have the opportunity to develop or refine your skills in a busy hospital environment while maintaining a predictable day schedule.
