PCU Registered Nurse Job in Fort Myers, FL

Gulf Coast Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 99-day travel assignment in our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). You will work 3x12-hour night shifts, rotating between two GI step-down units (3E and 3W) within a 36-bed service. This role offers $2,139.19 weekly and begins October 2, 2026.

Position Highlights:

• Patient-to-nurse ratio of 4:1
• Epic EMR system
• Rotating assignment between 3E and 3W units
• Expected to function as core staff within the units

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred

Important to Know:

• Floating is required. Travel nurses are prioritized for float assignments and may be floated to other sister campuses.
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application. No requests will be approved after submission.
• A 50-mile radius rule applies from your permanent address.
