About this role
You will work as a Certified Surgical Technologist in the Cardiothoracic and Vascular Operating Room (CVOR) at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. This is a 13-week travel assignment running from October 26, 2026.
Schedule and Hours
You will work three 12-hour day shifts per week, from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM. You will rotate weekend call every four weeks, with call shifts typically lasting 2, 4, 8, or 12 hours and used to fill evening and night staffing needs Monday through Thursday. The facility makes every effort to keep your combined work and call hours under 60 per week.
Your Role
You will perform and assist with a comprehensive range of surgical procedures across multiple specialties, including:
- Open heart procedures: CABG, fempop bypass, and fistulas
- Neurosurgery: stealth navigation, spinal fusions, discectomy, and craniotomy
- Trauma: damage control resuscitative surgery, neuro, ortho, and general
- Orthopedics: trauma, total joints, and sports medicine
- Vascular and general surgery procedures
- Robotics cases in gynecology, general, and urology
- Burn procedures: wound debridement, skin grafting, and dressing changes
- ENT, gastroenterology, gynecology, ophthalmology, plastics, psychiatry, and urology cases
Compensation
You will receive $1,891 per week for this assignment.
What We Need
You must hold current Allied Health Professional credentials and be a Certified Surgical Technologist. A valid travel license or the ability to obtain one in Idaho is required.
