Electrophysiology Technician Job in Ft. Walton Bch, FL

You will work as an Electrophysiology Technician at HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital in the Cardiac Cath Lab. This is a 91-day travel position starting June 4, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• STEMI call approximately 10–12 days per month with self-scheduling available
• Weekly pay: $2,248.40

Your Role

You will manage 7 holding beds, maintain appropriate patient ratios, and float between EP and Stress Lab departments as needed. You will operate specialized equipment including GE Innova and Impella systems, and use MacLab and Meditech documentation systems.

Procedures and Skills

You will assist with a full range of cardiac procedures including TAVR, PFO closure, Atherectomy, PCI, right and left heart catheterization (R/LHC), Impella and IABP support, implants, DCCV, and TEE. You must have demonstrated expertise in Structural Heart, IABP, Impella, IFR, and FFR procedures, with advanced skills in PCI, PFO closure, Impella, and IABP management.

Required Qualifications

• Current ACLS and BLS certification
• Cath Lab experience with Structural Heart, IABP, Impella, IFR, and FFR skills
• Advanced procedural knowledge in PCI, PFO, Impella, and IABP
