Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• 36 guaranteed hours for 12-hour shifts or 40 guaranteed hours for 8/10-hour shifts
• Weekend coverage may be required and can be discussed with manager
• Float within scope to meet facility needs and to sister facilities within 20 miles
• Minimum 18 months experience in specialty required, 2 years preferred
• Required certifications: AHA ACLS and BLS, RCVT (Registered Cardiovascular Tech) preferred, RCIS also preferred
• Must be nicotine free - negative 10 panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
• Scrub color: Ceil Blue
• Charting system: EPIC
• EKG and pharmacy test required during orientation with maximum 2 attempts each
• Time sensitive modules must be prioritized once assignment is confirmed (6-15 hours, non-billable)
• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Skills include cardiac stent placement, IABP placement/removal, PCI, PTCA, equipment setup
• Maintain sterile field and follow isolation precautions
• Work with middle adult and older adult patient populations
• All RTO must be submitted at time of application
