CT Technologist Job in Hot Springs, SD

Fall River Health Services is seeking a CT Technologist to join their diagnostic imaging team in Hot Springs, South Dakota. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 29, 2026, with a 4x10 rotating shift schedule and weekly pay of $2,628.

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures using approved techniques and established standards
• Produce emergent and routine diagnostic images using fixed and portable X-ray equipment
• Operate CT room equipment to generate routine and emergent diagnostic images
• Adjust exposure settings for proper image acquisition and optimize patient positioning
• Minimize radiation exposure following ALARA principles to protect patients
• Process images in the PACS system for radiologist review
• Complete examinations according to radiologist protocols
• Document procedures and process information within electronic medical records
• Schedule patients for appointments in X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, DXA, and Holter monitoring
• Inform and assist patients with contrast media administration for CT examinations
• Participate in quality control activities for equipment, radiation safety, and patient safety
• Ensure examinations are completed in a timely and accurate manner
• Provide professional customer service to patients and staff members

Position Requirements:

• Valid R.T.(R)(ARRT) credential
• One year of experience as a CT Technologist (preferred)
• Clinical proficiency in radiographic procedures, radiation physics, and human anatomy and physiology
• Willingness to rotate on-call and weekend shifts
