About this role

You will work as an RN Circulator in a high-volume, high-acuity cardiac catheterization lab at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in Saint Louis, Missouri. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 20, 2026, with 4x10 day shifts rotating between 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM late, and 10:00 AM–8:30 PM close. You will work 40 guaranteed hours per week and every other weekend, with rotating on-call coverage including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Providing conscious sedation under attending physician direction
  • Handing off sterile supplies and managing instrument preparation
  • Assessing and monitoring vital signs in a 1:1 patient ratio environment
  • Documenting patient care and procedures in the Epic charting system
  • Supporting diagnostic and interventional PCI procedures
  • Cross-training to run hemodynamics in the monitor tech role
  • Floating within the service line as needed

You will manage patients with diagnoses including acute myocardial infarction, chest pain, heart failure, NSTEMI, aortic stenosis, ventricular tachycardia, endocarditis, atrial fibrillation, peripheral vascular disease, and sick sinus syndrome. Required skills include diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, percutaneous coronary intervention, left and right heart catheterization, Impella insertion, IABP placement and removal, circulating and scrubbing procedures, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and cardiac stent placement.

Minimum qualifications include a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with Level 1 trauma background, high-volume cath lab experience, at least one year of EP (electrophysiology) experience, and interventional scrub experience. Required certifications are ACLS and BLS. You must pass the Relias EKG exam and have Epic charting system experience. Navy scrubs are required.

Weekly pay is $2,933.28. Your home address must be at least 75 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted.
