<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>MRI Tech</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 3x12 hour day shifts, Thursday through Saturday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM<br>• Saturday weekend coverage required<br>• No on-call responsibilities<br>• Minimum 1 year MRI experience required<br>• First-time travelers accepted<br>• Required certifications: ARRT (MR), BLS<br>• Siemens Espree equipment experience required<br>• Radiation badge not required<br>• Must wear black, teal, or gray scrubs<br>• Epic charting system preferred<br>• Free parking provided<br>• 8 hours of orientation<br>• Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks<br>• Perform high quality MRI examinations on entire patient population (neonate through geriatrics)<br>• Work with adult acute care, adult ICU, adult outpatient, ER/trauma patients<br>• Perform various imaging including brain, chest, abdomen, spine, pelvis, and extremities<br>• Prepare and administer contrast media<br>• Start peripheral IVs<br>• Must be able to work effectively in team-oriented environment with minimal supervision<br>• During hurricane season (June-November), may be assigned to emergency response teams</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This acute care hospital features 200 staffed beds and provides comprehensive medical services to the community. The facility utilizes modern equipment including Siemens Espree MRI scanners and maintains high standards for patient care across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics.
