Respiratory Therapist Job in Tallahassee, FL

HCA Florida Capital Hospital is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment in Tallahassee, FL. You will work three 12-hour day shifts per week from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with rotating weekends required.

Your Role:

• Float throughout all inpatient units, including two 10-bed ICUs
• Perform aerosol treatments, BiPap management, and full ventilator management
• Operate Puritan Bennett 980 ventilators, Vapotherm, and Phillips V60+ equipment
• Use Siemens EPOC bedside ABG analyzers and other advanced diagnostic equipment
• Assist with intubation, arterial line insertion, and bedside bronchoscopy procedures
• Participate in daily nursing unit department rounding as part of the interdisciplinary care team
• Document patient care using the Meditech system
• Follow AIDET patient experience standards

Requirements:

• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• Critical care and emergency care experience required
• Allied Health Professional degree (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
