Ultrasound Technologist Job in Clinton, IA

MercyOne Clinton Medical Center is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a travel assignment in Clinton, Iowa. This is a 91-day contract position starting June 7, 2026, offering competitive compensation and the opportunity to contribute to a patient-centered healthcare environment.

Position Overview

You will provide ultrasound imaging services to patients, operating diagnostic ultrasound equipment and performing a variety of imaging procedures. You'll work closely with physicians and medical staff to deliver quality diagnostic imaging that supports clinical decision-making and patient care.

Shift and Schedule

• 5x8 Days shift (40 hours per week)
• Rotating on-call coverage one weekday until 9:00 PM
• Rotating on-call schedule weekends from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
• On-call responsibilities require availability for emergency and urgent imaging needs

Requirements

• Current certification and licensure as an Ultrasound Technologist
• Ability to operate ultrasound equipment and perform diagnostic imaging procedures
• Flexibility to accommodate rotating on-call duties
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with medical staff
