Respiratory Therapist Job in Boise, ID

St. Lukes Boise Medical Center is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment. You'll work three 12-hour night shifts per week, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend required. Holiday work is required if scheduled during holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete 36–42 treatments per 12-hour shift, or 12–14 treatments every 4 hours
• Manage all respiratory therapy equipment, treatments, and patient transport
• Perform ABGs and assist with intubations (assistance only, not independent performance)
• Operate equipment including Draeger vents for adults, Servo U for pediatrics, V60 BiPAPs, Vapotherm high flow, and Optiflow for NICU and PICU
• Provide NICU coverage with knowledge of NAVA (naturally adjusted ventilatory assist) on Servo vents
• Will not perform EKGs

Required Qualifications:

• RRT preferred; CRT accepted with 3–5 years of experience
• Minimum 2–3 years experience if RRT; 3–5 years if CRT
• Adult, NICU, and pediatrics experience required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and PALS
• First-time travelers accepted

Assignment Details:

• May float to Meridian Medical Center and Nampa Medical Center
• Epic charting system
• Typically 2–3 shifts of orientation
• No call or standby requirements
• Any color scrubs allowed if clean and professional
• Weekly pay: $2,365.20
