Telemetry RN Job in Saint Louis, MO

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 48 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week assignment length with potential extension to 26 weeks
• Every other weekend required (Saturday and Sunday)
• No call requirements
• Float to similar or lower acuity units as needed
• Night shift orientation conducted on day shift - must be available entire orientation week
• 2+ years telemetry experience required
• Current RN license (eligible for Missouri licensure or currently licensed in Missouri)
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only, NIHSS
• Patient ratios: 4-6:1 (estimates, not guarantees)
• Care for 50% medical patients and 50% telemetry patients (adults only)
• Use EPIC EMR system and standard nursing equipment on telemetry unit
• Black scrubs required
• Up to 5 days time off can be automatically approved per 13-week period
• Expected to work at least one major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day)
• Auto-offer position subject to manager interview within 24 hours and final approval
