Interventional Radiology RN Job in Bloomington, IN

IU Health Bloomington Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Interventional Radiology department. You will work a 4x10 day shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with an on-call requirement of approximately one evening per week and every fourth weekend (30-minute response time). You must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays.

About the Role

You will perform and assist with a wide range of procedures across Interventional Radiology and Electrophysiology services, including Left and Right Heart Catheterizations, Ablations, Implants (ICD, PPM), structural heart procedures such as TAVR and LAAO, and peripheral vascular interventions including ports, drains, biopsies, central lines, thrombectomy, PCI, and dialysis access. Pre- and post-procedure responsibilities include bedside TEEs and cardioversions. You will respond to STEMI calls as required and operate specialized equipment including IABP, IVUS, Temporary Pacers, Shockwave, Crosser, Laser, Angiojet, Siemens labs, and Abbott & Carto mapping systems for EP cases. Patients include adult and geriatric populations. Floating within the hospital or to an affiliate facility is required.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years nursing experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Electrophysiology (EP) experience strongly preferred
• Cerner charting system experience preferred

You will have access to interdisciplinary support from IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Radiology, and Rapid Response Teams to ensure coordinated patient care.

Compensation: $2,830 weekly. Duration: 91 days. Start Date: November 17, 2026.
