CVOR Registered Nurse Job in Augusta, GA

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) team. This is a 98-day travel assignment beginning June 22, 2026, offering competitive pay of $2,822.40 weekly.

Schedule and Shift Details

• 5x8 day shift (Monday–Friday, 8 hours per day)
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Overnight call approximately 2 times per week after shift
• Regular day call approximately 1 time per month (13–15 days monthly)
• Approximately 2 weekend call shifts required
• Maximum 7 days RTO per contract; blackout dates apply April 4–12
• May float to Main OR in rare instances

Requirements and Qualifications

• Georgia or Compact license required at time of submission
• 2 years of experience; first-time travelers accepted
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Endovascular experience required; vascular service line and EVAR knowledge mandatory
• Preferred experience with CSI and Penumbra equipment
• Epic charting system experience preferred; Pyxis required

Role Details

• 1:1 patient ratio for adults and geriatric populations
• 40 hours of orientation with specialty-specific modules
• OR scrubs provided by facility

Holiday Requirements

• Work 1 major holiday if 1 falls during assignment
• Work both if 2 major holidays fall during assignment
• Work 2 of 3 if 3 major holidays fall during assignment
• Major holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day

Full compliance with all requirements is mandatory to start on time. A 2-week delay applies if you are not compliant at the start date. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dedicated CVOR environment with a strong emphasis on specialized endovascular procedures.
