Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Patient ratios of 1:6 general patients; 1:4 for Heart Cath patients (estimated, never guaranteed)
• Work on 37-bed Intermediate Care/Telemetry unit on 3rd floor
• Minimum 1 year current acute care hospital Telemetry experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Prior Meditech EMR experience preferred
• NIH certification preferred
• Work with equipment including PCA pumps, IV pumps, and chest tubes
• Perform procedures such as central line care, medication drips, heart catheterization recovery, and bubble studies
• Must demonstrate positive attitude, independence, and strong critical thinking skills
• Focus on providing positive patient care experience
• Work alongside day shift team of 8 RNs, 3 Patient Care Techs, and 1 Unit Clerk
