Physical Therapist Assistant Job in Moore, OK

Tide Health Group – Thunder Care and Rehab is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a long-term care position in Moore, OK. This is a full-time role working days, Monday through Friday, with no call or weekend responsibilities.

About the Role

You will provide rehabilitative and skilled treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders under the supervision and direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. Your responsibilities include:

• Administering therapeutic interventions including manual techniques, ambulation training, therapeutic exercises, and modalities
• Using supportive and assistive devices as clinically indicated
• Assessing patient progress and collaborating with your supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatment plans
• Documenting all required clinical and regulatory information in the electronic health record system
• Accurately recording treatment minutes per regulatory and clinical standards
• Participating in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation meetings
• Providing consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers

Requirements

• Active PTA license
• Minimum 1+ years of PTA experience
• Long-term care or rehabilitation experience required
• New graduates with Level II fieldwork experience are considered
• Adherence to APTA and State Required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics standards
• Skills checklist completion within 1 year of hire

Position Details

This is an 91-day assignment starting June 15, 2026. You will work 5 eight-hour shifts per week during day hours. Weekly pay is $1,699.20.
