ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ED Inpatient

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM
• Function as a proactive member of an interdisciplinary healthcare team in the Emergency Department
• Provide individualized, high-quality, safe patient care to patients, families, and significant others
• Perform the complete nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Deliver relationship-based patient centered care adapting to population specific characteristics
• Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, case reviews, and bedside shift reports
• Complete timely documentation and promote a respectful, inclusive clinical environment
• Participate in performance improvement activities and shared governance
• Complete all initial and ongoing professional competency assessments and mandatory education
• Serve as preceptor and/or mentor for other professional nurses and staff
• Required certifications upon hire: BLS, Georgia RN license or RN-COMPACT
• Required certifications within specified timeframes: PALS (within 180 days), TNCC (within 18 months), ACLS (within 180 days)
• Associates degree in nursing required, Bachelor's degree preferred
• Must possess strong interpersonal skills and ability to function in fast-paced emergency environment
• Excellent time management and critical thinking skills required
• Basic computer skills and ability to optimize technology for clinical care
