Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Charleston, WV

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at CAMC Memorial Hospital in Charleston, West Virginia. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting October 29, 2026.

Schedule and Hours

• 4x10-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• On-call responsibilities: 2–3 weekday nights per month (7:00 PM to 6:30 AM as second call) and approximately one weekend every 4–5 weeks (Friday 7:00 PM through Monday 6:30 AM)
• First and second call rotate every 12 hours during weekend call periods
• 2-hour callback minimum required
• Weekend call is callback only

Daily Work

• Daily caseload of 8–10 cases
• Circulating in the lab, moderate sedation administration, patient assessment, medication administration, pre- and post-operative care
• May float within scope to meet facility needs, but will primarily work in Cath Lab
• Charting system: Cerner

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years RN experience; minimum 1 year Cath Lab experience required
• Competency in all aspects of Cath Lab Diagnostic and Intervention, including Structural
• First-time Cath Lab travelers not accepted—prior experience required
• Travel experience required
• Active West Virginia or Compact nursing license; pending license accepted for submission
• ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association) required
• Charge experience preferred
