Opportunity:

RN - Oncology

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM in an outpatient radiation oncology clinic
• Patient ratios of 1-2 patients per RN (estimated, not guaranteed)
• Provide patient care, symptom management, and education to patients undergoing radiation therapy
• Manage radiation side effects such as skin changes and fatigue
• Work with electronic documentation systems including Meditech and Mosaic
• Minimum 1 year of current Radiation Oncology RN acute care experience required
• BLS certification required
• OCN (Oncology Certified RN) certification required
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• Compassionate bedside manner required as patients are actively battling cancer
• Must be self-directed and able to identify and address patient needs independently
